Today I got a package in the mail from France! It contained the makings for the four Breadboard Friends from Mutable Instruments! I found these in my travels when trying to find a good LM13700 VCO circuit so I could steal a output buffer.
These four boards sit on top of a standard breadboard and break out the pins for some of the most common connectors and parts needed when you’re designing a eurorack module. I’m impressed with the idea and, while they don’t come with all of the components for two of the boards, two of them can be built and put into use right away: The 3.5mm jacks board and the potentiometers board.
Just what I need! Too bad I placed that Mouser order last night…
